The New Horizons for Seniors Program, funded and approved by the Government of Canada, was officially launched. Life Education and Growth Association of Canada(LEGAC) International Arts & Cultural Exchange Centre is honored to have received approval for the project titled "Culinary Heritage: Cooking Together Across Generations."


    On the morning of May 3, 2025, a press conference project was held at Xinflix Media Inc. Television Broadcasting Centre. Renowned food experts, business leaders, and senior community groups attended and expressed their desire to create joyful and inspiring activities for seniors together. Letters of appointment were presented to them.

    The event, "Culinary Heritage: Cooking Together Across Generations, " featured participation from Canada’s leading culinary associations, renowned chefs, and multicultural experts. The program aims to highlight multicultural culinary traditions, develop a new international culinary cookbook, and promote public education through workshops on nutrition and wellness.

    This program offers interactive experiences with multicultural food traditions, showcases of classic recipe, and culinary competitions designed for seniors.


    In addition, our free culinary and nutrition masterclass provides seniors with opportunities to explore food culture, enhance practical cooking skills, and enjoy a rich and meaningful path of life long learning and contribution.
