The event featured a vibrant lineup of cultural performances by youth art groups, including poetry recitation, dance, and choir singing, which received warm applause and cheers from the audience. The Consulate-General, along with major Chinese language schools in Calgary, also set up several cultural experience stations inside the library. Visitors engaged in hands-on activities such as brush calligraphy, paper cutting, traditional printing, shadow puppetry, and lion dance—making learning about Chinese language and culture both educational and fun. Many local families came with their young children, enjoying the charm of Chinese culture through parent-child interaction in a lively and heartwarming atmosphere.

This event not only further deepened cultural exchanges between China and Canada, but also injected new vitality into community integration within a multicultural context. By serving as a bridge through both language and art, it fostered greater understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture among local residents, promoted mutual respect among diverse communities, and laid a solid foundation for building a more inclusive and harmonious society.
